Devon & Summer Camp

We're in the process of catching up on our busy summer.  Congratulations to Katie on Ultina for her tie for Grand Champion of the Local Hunters at Devon (she was champion in her section of the show).  William also had great ribbons in the Locals & was 4th in the Foxhunter class.  We also had a strong showing in the Adult Jumper division with Stacey and Imagine That, and the girls.....Nicole, Lauren and Alyssa on their ponies.

Summer camp also kept us busy this summer!  We had a full crew in both the June and July camps, and the kids enjoyed trail riding, lessons, games and crafts.  Some of the girls are pictured here with Interlude.

August also brought a great trip down to the Kentucky Horse Park for pony finals.  Alex DiMaggio and Twighlight's Whisper competed in the Medium Green Pony Hunters, and Bernie Thompson rode her pony Pendemere Legacy in the Large Pony Hunters.  Alyssa, Lauren & Nicole also represented the USPC team members in the Pony Jumpers.  A special thanks to all the families & friends who made the treck down south!

Thanks as usual to Shannon for all of her great photos which we intend to update on the site & will make into photo albums.  We will also have our update on Ludwig's Corner next week!

Keep checking back.........  LT

New Partnerships!

Congratulations to Emily DiMaggio on the sale of Haley's Comet (pictured here) to a young rider training with Farrah Phillips-Hillard at Foxview Farm. The DiMaggio's spent quite a bit of time trying new ponies this summer and have happily found their new pony, Cailliou, who came from Emil Spadone and Redfield Farm.

We also have a few other new relationships in the barn. Laurie and Keilly Kirkpatrick brought home an early Christmas present from pony finals and her name is Absolutely Adorable...aka "Abby" as she is known in the barn. Although Keilly still happily rides her super pony Flash, this new pony will be her next super star!

We also want to congratulate Shannon on her recent in-house lease of Cort, who is another fabulous homebred who came up from Linda's parents barn in Va. We are happy that Shannon has formed such a great relationship with this horse & are also extremely appreciative for all her continued help at the barn and excellent photographic contributions to our site!!
