Hollins Riders Move on to Nationals!

Team continues pursuit for 3rd National Title

Hollins Riding has done it once again! Under the coaching of Nancy Peterson, Sandy Gerald, Liz Courter, and Elise Roschen, the Hollins Riding team has advanced to pursue its third national title.

The team will compete at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Horse Show at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky from May 6 through May 9.

Additionally, Katie Furches '10 hopes to add a Cacchione Cup title and two individual titles to her already impressive collegiate career. If successful, it will be the fifth time a Hollins rider has taken the national high point rider title, which would tie the University of Virginia for the winingest school. She would also add to the 17 individual national titles to which Hollins riders already lay claim.
